Birthday Reflections

I can’t say that I have ever considered this before… But today I have been thinking that a birthday should be a time when we think about and exercise a measure of gratefulness for the idea that God had that resulted in our birth. It was all His idea… it was all His doing… It was a miracle… It was an outpouring of His creativity. So, our birthdays are a great opportunity to reflect on our origin and reflect on what God had in His mind when He decided that we should be born. That seems like an incredible affirmation of our value and should offer a significant incentive for us to pursue our God given destiny.
